Job Description

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of a multi-location recruiting team in a high-volume contact center environment. In collaboration with the hiring managers and the Recruiting team, this position is responsible for sourcing and hiring top quality candidates to meet the needs of our clients and our business.

  • Directly source and coordinate the recruitment of hourly/non-exempt and supervisory positions for assigned locations.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Recruiting Coordinator/Site Admins across assigned locations to understand position requirements and needs, implement a recruiting strategy and drive sourcing to find qualified candidates.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions within the applicant tracking system (ATS) to reflect program specific requirements.
  • Utilize strategies to improve quality candidate generation through vendor tools, recruiting technology solutions, and other platforms such as social media, mobile, digital, etc.
  • Develop a talent pipeline through a variety of programs including: social media, representation at key hiring events, local media relations and other key events/activities.
  • Identify branding/advertising opportunities and capture associated metrics.
  • Assist in educating managers to strengthen their candidate evaluation and decision-making process.
  • Provide a high-touch and best in class candidate experience.
  • Ensure new hire processing is completed including the administration of background screening and reporting.
  • Produce and present key analytic reports related to hiring trends, time to fill, and other relative data.
  • Participate in New Client Implementation meetings to gather data for candidate profile, set expectations of client participation in interview process and review process steps.

Experience and Skills


  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
  • Experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of recruiting or HR experience required - preferably in a high volume or contact center environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Google Mail, Google Docs, Outlook, MS Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems required. Working knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow and/or Paylocity ATS highly desired.
  • Excellent typing skills (40-60 wpm).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people inside and outside of FCR.
  • Takes initiative in situations in anticipation of needs.
  • Proactive, creative and effective problem solver.
  • Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the pressure of deadlines.
